Welcome to Slán Solas

Slán Solas means “goodbye light” as Gaeilge. Born on a cold november evening in 2023, we are a “mindful community” gathering at sunset, outdors, to breathe, move gently, and be with each other as the day comes to a close.

It’s a softer alternative to nights out, especially in the darker months when connection can feel harder to find. Each gathering brings together slow movement, breathwork, live music or sound baths, and space to simply pause and be.

Slán Solas also started from a place of care. We felt the need to create a space where people could come together and support something bigger than ourselves.

Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, you’re welcome here just as you are.

A Night of Stories with

AOIFE DUNNE

The evening begins with breathwork and a sound bath to help you land and reset, before we shift into something a little different… because there’s truly nothing better for the soul than a good laugh.

We’re delighted to welcome Aoife Dunne, who will be hosting a night of stories — sharing some of her own, and holding space for others to share theirs too. A chance to breathe, rest, laugh, and connect in the beautiful setting of IMMA.

SUNFLOWER SESSIONS

We collaborate once again with Sunflower Sessions, described as “the sweet spot between yoga and music.” Together we’ll weave live music, movement, and connection, creating a night that flows straight to the soul.

Since our first gathering in November 2023, Slán Solas has always been about more than just movement and breath. It started with a desire to respond to the world, to offer something gentle, supportive, and meaningful in difficult times.

From the beginning, our sessions have been donation-based. That means every person who joins is also helping us support others. Together, we’ve raised funds for causes close to our hearts, including the ones in support to Palestine, Dublin Simon Community, Pieta House, Breast Cancer Ireland, and many more..

Rooted in Community, Guided by Care

Over the years, We have had the privilege of working with teams at Meta, Google, WeWork and the Irish Law Society, providing workshops designed to help employees manage stress, improve focus, and reset their nervous systems.

Why Breathwork & Stress Management Matter in Corporate Settings

1-Breathwork activates the parasympathetic nervous system, instantly reducing stress and anxiety.

2- Increased oxygen flow boosts concentration and sharpens decision-making in high-pressure environments.

3-These sessions are short and effective, making it easy for employees to participate without extensive time commitments.

4-Breathwork can be done from any location, be it a desk or conference room, making it scalable for teams of all sizes.

5-Regular practice supports emotional regulation, reduces burnout, and enhances overall well-being.

What People Say

  • “I didn’t expect to feel that much just by breathing. The sound bath and live music brought me to tears in the best way, it felt like my nervous system finally got a moment to rest.”

    Aoife

  • “The whole experience felt like a reset. I walked in tense and scattered, and walked out soft, grounded, and somehow lighter. The music was so beautiful I forgot where I was.”

    Mark, first-timer

  • “It’s rare to find a space that feels this safe and real. The breathwork helped me release things I didn’t even know I was holding, and the sound bath afterwards felt like a warm hug.”

    Liam, tech work

  • “Every part of the session flowed so naturally, the movement, the breathing, the music. It was the first time in months I felt fully present. I’m still thinking about it days later.”
